On 5th of December 2018, at the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety (KAPS) was held the informational session of the Erasmus + office in Kosovo.
During the meeting, the Dean of the Faculty of Public Safety (PSF) at the KAPS Bejtush Gashi thanked Erasmus + office officials in Kosovo for their overall contribution in raising the level of studies at the Faculty through exchange of experiences that students and teachers of PSF had as well as the administrative staff of KAPS. Dean Gashi pledged for further support of Erasmus +’s significant activities, in particular for the Faculty and in general for the Academy.
While the AKSP official Skender Agaj informed the attendees about the activities that were conducted with KAPS with the Erasmus + program. He said that so far from this program, respectively by International Mobility Loan, have benefited a total of 48 members that are students, academic and administrative staff with visits from one week to five months in similar institutions in Germany, Estonia and Poland.
He also underlined the importance of the part of building Erasmus + higher education capacities in KAPS’s in forthcoming strategic plans, not forgetting either the part of the vocational training.
In addition, officials from the office Erasmus + in Kosovo informed the attendees about the latest call for applications in all Erasmus + activities, such as: building higher education capacities, Jean Monnet for field studies of the European Union, international mobility of loans, etc., including deadlines and method of application.
While the students of the KAPS Faculty of Public Safety, Fluturë Hasani and Gentian Kurteshi shared their experiences, priorities and challenges during their five-month stay at the Estonian Academy of Security Sciences in the semester of the academic year 2017 – 2018.
