On November 16, 2020, within the framework of monitoring the capacity building projects in higher education (CBHE), through the Erasmus program, the Office visited the local partners of the project “Development and implementation of the doctoral curriculum in ICT for the education system of Kosovo / The development and implementation of PhD Curricula in ICT for Kosovo Education System ”(PhDICTKES), led by Linnaeus University, Sweden, and which includes in partnership institutions in Kosovo, such as: University of Prishtina“ Hasan Prishtina”, College“ UBT ”, and University of Prizren Ukshin Hoti.

The purpose of the project is to engage HEIs to provide a set of recommendations related to PhD studies towards the needs of Kosovo, namely to develop a model curriculum, as well as a guide and strategic and regulatory documents on its implementation. Further, it is planned to establish a “National PhD School in ICT”, which would facilitate PhD studies in this field in Kosovo, based on the experience of universities of EU partner countries, which are participating in the project.
